We were lucky and got a booth. Plenty room and very attentive serving staff. Food was lovely. I had the haddock aka small whale. My partner had the venison haggis burger. Very clean plates when we finished!
Popped in for a quick bite. Opted for a starter and chips. Food was excellent - tasty, fresh and attractive! Staff were friendly and tentative. Restaurant decor was quirky and fresh. Will definitely be back to taste the rest of their menu.
Despite restrictions had a fabulous meal in the restaurant marque. Fish pie was the best I have had and husbands venison was perfect. Been going to this restaurant for years and despite the changes in management never had a bad meal. Tonight's was exceptional. Thank you
We booked 2 rooms at late notice and the staff could not have more accomodating. The rooms were gorgeous and comfy. They brought the chef in early to make our breakfast as we had to leave early and it was a treat. Well worth every penny.
It was very welcoming and food was spectacular table service was so good lovely people I don't normally eat all my vegetables but I ate all of them so fresh
Beer Garden behind under cover with gas heating. Good place to sit and chill with a beer or a glass / bottle of wine with social distancing observed. well, in tier 2 anyway
Service was lovely. Staff were attentive polite and helpful. Reassured that they had plenty of hand sanitiser available, took your temp on arrival and remained a respectable distance where possible. Food was nice
Nice casual restaurant but with typical UK cuisine well prepared. Friendly and attentive staff in a very pleasant atmosphere.
