New owners and great beer! After forsaking this pub for many months due to it highly variable quality of beer..we were pleasantly surprised today with two excellent ales and a good selection of lager. Hopefully will continue to be good, so that we can reestablish on our pub crawls ;)

Hardly ever open now and such a shame Gravesend has lost one of its few decent pubs. Update. Massively improved now with new owners. March 2018.

New owners very friendly.enjoy sitting in the garden in the summer.garden is going to be there next project. My grandsons love going there

Nice place if you fancy somewhere a little quieter than the town centre, but closes really early, even at weekends.

Used to be a really great pub with a fantastic selection of beers but we went the other weekend and they had nothing except one lager and one beer and one wine (only available by the glass). Apparently this is now a regular feature. It's a shame.
