This place has really gone downhill. The staff are friendly but there just aren't enough of them and you can see they are struggling to keep up. The bar was full of patrons waiting to be served with only one person serving. The food was also disappointing as well. I ordered the beef and cheese melt and was surprised how little flavour there was, not to mention how dry it was. Also worth noting that they are now charging 59p to add a blob of bbq sauce. Such a shame.

My Parents having been going to this pub for a few years. We went there with them last Saturday 17th Dec. We had a meal too which I can say was hot and very tasty. There are large screens set up so you can watch sport especially football at the weekends. Being quite a are pub too it really ticked all the boxes. Well done The Goose......

Great to start an evening out for a group of youngsters. I found at 50 it was tatty and the service was not what I had hoped for. Good for some but not my thing.

Good family please. the toilette a bit dirty the table wasn't that clean either. Food was excellent and good value for money 💵
