Great place for a working lunch on a Friday. There recommendation. Xmas menu was great. Staff were attentive and showed good efficiency and communication. Fire place is amazing. Shame couldn't stay for the music being set up bet its lively oh & next time I'll bring my golf clubs. Club at the same venue!!Food: 4/5
Very nice restaurant. On the inside the decoration as a barn is awesome. Once you are seated there are some table games on each table to keep you entertained, very fun and haven't seen anything like that ever. But you can't play long because the food arrives FAST super nice surprise, you are used to waiting an hour to get your food in other restaurants, not here!. When the food arrives it's very very tasty can't recommend enough the teriyaki pork starter!!! And the quantity of the food on the mains is more than enough, super big! I was thinking of ordering some dessert but I was super full, maybe another day! There is a big option as well for cocktails, mocktails, wine and spirits. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of the food. The waitresses are super nice as well. They also have kids menu which is very nice as well. I will go back again!! Reservations are advised if you want to be sure you'll get a place, although I haven't reserved when I went and I've got a table!
What a Gem! Absolutely stunning location, hospitality 5 stars, members of staff are very attentative to details, food is devine and everything is freshly made. We tried a variety of foods and every dish tasted better than the previous one. The place is well looked after, very cozy, has a golf course where you can have a great time after your meal. Highly recommending to visit this gastro pub. Parking: Available Wheelchair accessibility: Available
Really lovely lunch here, would definitely recommend this place. Small touches elevate it above your average Sunday roast. Lots of staff serving, well organised, warm and friendly. Busy with a good atmosphere. With the attentiveness of the staff means you never feel like you are waiting for service. One of, if not the best, sticky toffee pudding I have ever had and I have had a few! Not the cheapest but definitely worth it.
First time having an English Sunday roast and I have to say, that whole thing about English food not being good? Rubbish. It was one of the best things I've ever had in my life. I had the lamb Sunday roast and it was delicious.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Food was exceptional. The staff very attentive and friendly. Made our family meet up very special. We will be back!Food: 5/5
My partner took me out for a meal for my Birthday. Food was delicious and service is 5 . Would definitely come back there!
Had my Nan's birthday lunch here today. Incredibly nice staff....room was perfect for us. And the food was epic. Would recommend
Went there for a roast dinner. Food was good, decent portions and good variety. Service was also good, we had a brand new server but she managed to offer a good service. A couple of issues which could happen anywhere, but a main issue was our inquiry about the side dishes that come with the roast, because they hadn't arrived. We were immediately told we would have to order them extra by one waitress, while another was bringing them to our table. It is not the delay that bugged me, it is the attitude of immediately trying to add something to the bill without checking menus clearly state that roasts come with side dishes. Atmosphere is also good, a lot of people but not chaotic/dirty or loud. A family was hogging the fireplace area with children scattering toys and sitting in three different tables other than theirs, which is inconsiderate from the parents part. They seemed to have had some issue with billing. Parking was easy, location convenient. Only issue, is the prices...we paid 80 pounds for two people... We got two of the two course roasts, one dessert to share, one large and one small coke, a coffee and one glass of wine.. Not in London but Sussex.. also there are no prices in the desserts, if someone wants to have extra.... Pricing is of course clearly indicated on menus so it was our choice to dine there.
Good service and setting was lovely. Very pricey for what you get. Disappointed with the food as we ordered fish. Expecting a whole fish for the price not a fillet, which on the menu didn't state. My partner ordered his food and asked for roast potatoes and it came with mashed potatoes he wasn't happy with his meal either. Lovely range of wines I must say and the Beers were good. Clean. Wheelchair accessible. Friendly staff and looks like they work hard as a good team. Free parking.
