A lovely country pub which is situated in Pateley Bridge so expect some lovely views. If you are interested in visiting this lovely pub then I recommend placing a reservation as it gets very busy and I was lucky to get a seat. The Sunday roast which I observed been served looked very well presented and reasonably priced, though this I will have to return and try. If you fancy just a quick drink then it's worth calling in so you can explore Pateley Bridge which claims to have the oldest sweet shop in Britain, which I must say is in its self is worth the trip. If you like trinket shops or like walking in the country then put this place on your to do list.

We had the steak and ale pie and the ranchers chicken. Both were excellent and better than expected for a pub meal. Recommend for anyone.
