I'm part of quite a large family so 8 of us 3 kids and 5 adults arrived here without booking and without much of a problem we were given comfortable seats. We all got the carvery and the man who carved and served our meat upstairs had a lot of banter and gave us great portions. The vegetables and gravy were fantastic too! The cauliflower cheese wasn't the best unfortunately. We got dessert afterwards, the Oreo Sundae was brilliant and there was lots of whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The drinks were as expected for any restaurant. Overall, service was quick, the servers were lovely and polite, the food was really nice and the restaurant is a lovely place to take the family on the weekends. I would highly recommend this place.

Me and the wife decided to go here last minute for tea. We went for the combo starter which was great. We both had the Highlander Burger as a main, this was absolutely delicious and filling. I had the Caramel Apple Betty with ice cream and my wife had the sticky toffee pudding with custard and both were to die for. Will definatley be back. The staff are very friendly and they tend to your every need. Very quick service and staff are always smiling and very pleasant. I was astonished at how fair the prices were we got a 3 course meal and 3 drinks for under £60. Absolutely fantastic place very clean and cosy.

We had a party of 26 and all the staff was amazing. Food was wonderful. Thank you to all the staff that helped to make our family reunion one of the best times we've had.
First time at the Royal Oak for a lunch booking. Waitress with black hair who "greeted" us on arrival was extreamly rude. So we just turned around and went to Weatherspoons instead. I would NOT recommend the Royal Oak Alloa.

Huge portions, took starter and main but struggle to eat. good quality food with reasonable prices. Add bonuse beer garden and rear of pub.
Thought it looked a nice pub to grab a bite to eat. Was told to find a table and given menus, but then when we went to order were told that "We're not serving food tonight as we've got a party of 30 coming in". So why give us a menu?? Total waste of our time.
