Me and my elderly friend stayed here Friday until Monday. I will start by saying I think 3pm check in is late especially for the elderly. I had a room with a sea view which was lovely. The room was clean and I was lucky to have an ensuite with a bath and shower . There was plenty of tea,coffee,sugar and milk. The bins were emptied daily if you needed any clean towels you just have to ask at reception. The Breakfast was lovely and the dining room was clean. In my opinion the entrance to the hotel could do with a clean up . I will say the hotel's location isn't great if you don't have transport because it's a good distance from the town center. I did love having a walk on the beach in the morning
Had a brilliant weekend here. Staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful & happy. Room was very nice, paid a bit more for a front room with a balcony & it was well worth it. Music weekend, but not too busy. Allocated tables to eat & enjoy the evening entertainment. Plenty of parking. Very peaceful. Good choice of food. Will hopefully visit again.
Stayed for 4 nights hotel was OK my room was a bit on the small side but comfy. Entertainment and food good. Bit far from the beach for me
Just returned from a weekend trip to skegness, beautiful hotel, lots of history, gorgeous painted domed ceiling and chandelier in the reception room. Very impressive, nice outside garden area. Staff go to every effort, welcoming and warm. Breakfast was lovely lots on offer. Had the best sleep ever very comfortable. Enjoyed the games room with billiards and darts also tv in there and piano. Would definitely return and recommend. A little luxury for skegness
This was my 4th stay at The Royal Hotel, over the last few years. Each time I found it to be welcoming, with lovely rooms, interesting meals, and lively entertainment.
