Had lunch when visiting Campbeltown and found it to be well presented and really tasty. Staff lovely and friendly but we found service a bit slow for how many people were in the restaurant at the time. Saying that would love to return for another lovely lunch when in the area.

We had a comfortable stay, big rooms, comfy beds and the Anna on the front desk was lovely and helpful. It does need some more modern charging facilities for travellers. A fridge would also be helpful. I think it was extremely expensive given our other Accom and was half the price with food included.we dined in their restaurant and the food was good, and big portions.nHotel is right near the water, close to supermarkets, the spring bank distillery and the leisure centre

In the first two minutes of being at The Royal Hotel, Caroline made me feel more warm, comfortable, and welcome, than I had ever felt in my entire life of staying at hotels.nnThe room was spacious and as clean as any 5 star hotel. The bed and pillows premium. WiFi fast, room warm… and I drank two of the most delicious whiskies downstairs at the restaurant where they let us stay past close time. I’ve never had a more enjoyable stay anywhere in the world! Thank you to the entire staff at The Royal Hotel!

Lovely hotel.....girl behind the bar is superb at her job but needs helpshe can only do so much....very shirt staffed
