Outstanding food and service. Our meals were piping hot and freshly prepared. My steak pie was the best I've had. Customer focused establishment. My first time here and my new favourite pub. The desserts were equally tasty and impressive.
Had a fantastic experience thanks to Tom’s great service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made excellent recommendations and really enhanced the visit. On top of that, the new craft beer selection is impressive, with a great variety and some standout choices I hadn’t seen before. It’s clear a lot of thought went into curating it. Can’t wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend!
Great place on a Friday night although a little noisy because of the relatively large talkative crowd. Food was good and the drinks were too.nAll meals were large and tasty. Well worth a visit.
Nice spot for a pint in this scorching heat. They have plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Most days you can walk in but might get busy over the weekends. Good staff and quick service. Ambience is good too. Lots of locals visiting this spot so it’s pretty friendly. Would definitely stop by for a pint.
Much improved after the refit. Clean and welcoming inside and a large number of tables outside ,front and back garden. The choice of drinks and especially ales is unusual and wide. The food was good and no complaints well, 1 tip could be to add some parmesan to the Caesar salad, if you were fussy. The chicken tikka burger is highly recommended. We had a great time there and will be back soon!
