We went for a late lunch on Euro Cup Final weekend. Arguably their busiest evening of the year. Staff was courteous, prompt and full of suggestions regarding the food. Drinks were served quick. Food took a bit of time which is understood given the rush on that day. Food was delicious. The place seems a bit pricey but one must pay for quality of Food and Service. This is a must visit again place.
This pub has it all: nice bar with an above average selection of beers and cider on tap, bar snacks to full meals, quiet conversation area and sports on TV, outdoor covered seating or garden, a dart board and a children's play area.nNicely decorated with photos of the area 60-70 years ago and bookshelves. The friendly staff make it a very welcoming place, with a fun atmosphere. On site parking makes it an easy choice.
Friendly staff and the dining area is nicely decorated. The food is alright but overpriced for what it is. It's functional - I imagine a burger would fill the spot nicely if you're having a few beers. As a destination for dinner though I think you might be disappointed.
Great pub serving delicious food! The chicken wings are just yum! The people running the pub are really sweet too. It’s a bonus cos it’s dog friendly as well.
It's a nice pub with some decent food. Good to bring the family to for some lunch or come for a swift drink. It's quite large once inside with lots of good seating.
