Great venue, perfect for live music and right in the middle of Glasgow. Part of the same building as buchanan galleries shopping centre, there are numerous car parks around 5 minutes walk and queen Street train station is just around the corner. I went to see the show "The Music of Lord of the Rings and Beyond". Would definitely recommend going to watch live music here.
How well you enjoy a visit here may depend upon how well you enjoy your concert. However the concert hall has excellent acoustics and comfortable seating with ample leg room. It’s well ventilated and doesn’t get over hot and every seat has a good view of the stage. Great access by all forms of public transport and there’s an adjacent multi-storey car park.
Beautiful experience. A must go activity in Glasgow. Suitable for all ages. The "night before Christmas" show was simply amazing.
What a venue, saw one of my fave bands Dead Can Dance. Sublime, sound Is fantastic, acoustics are awesome and the staff are so nice! Always a pleasure going here just so good! Lovely!
For me Glasgow's best concert experience . Dont like any of the clydeside places especially the hydro which is downright dangerous in the higher tiers and has poor transport links and ridiculously expensive parking.City concert hall is central, comfortable, better bus links and normally good sound and ambiance Tonight was the amazing young blues player Christone " Kingfish: Ingram. A superb talent. Support was also excellent from Liz Jones' Broken Windows. starring John Bruce formerly of Blues'n' Trouble.
Great venue, excellent experience, very friendly and helpful staff , Comfortable seating with lots of leg room, clean toilet facilities and great acoustics. Its super easy to get to , 3 min walk from the Buchannan Subway and Bus station .. parking is also easy as you can use the BUCHAnAN GALLERIES car park ..
Was here for the rat pack christmas show, seating is great, comfortable and i think set out so the person in front doesn't block your view, I could be wrong as I was front row, the only downside is the stairs!!! Loads of them so if your mobility is anyway an issue you would struggle, not sure if there is a lift in the building I never saw one but would presume yes, the hall itself is surrounded by copious amounts of restaurants so plenty to choose from if your having dinner first, would I go back, absolutely, intact im back there tonight
Great venue. Seats good with good views even from high up. Bars on each floor but worth pre ordering drinks for the interval as long queues otherwise.
The Glasgow Royal concert Hall is at the city centre of Glasgow where one can access anything, it also has a cafe which serves light meal, drinks and coffee and bar that's serves alcoholic drinks. The staffs are really nice and ready to help when approached, the facility has good convenience and it's a 2 minutes walk to the bus station and 5 minutes walk to the train station.
Attended a concert of music from Lord of the Rings and other fantasy music.. the hall is great and the seating arranged to provide an excellent view from around the auditorium. Acoustics were excellent. Only negatives are a wait for the toilets and drinks at bar service too slow during interval.
