They quickly accommodated a party of 13 on a busy summer night so big point for them. My beef and Guiness pie was lovely and there were two sides included I chose veg and fries. Everyone was really happy with their meals and the kids enjoyed the desserts a lot. Wonderful experience and really worth to drive there. Parking: Parking at the back was perfect as there were nowhere to park around.
Have come here for years and years, and have always had a good experience, however this time we booked 6 weeks in advance for a meal with all of the family and requested high chairs etc at the time of booking, so could not understand when we showed up at the time of booking that the table hadn't been set, we had to go searching for a high chair, we had to push them together ourselves, we had to request menus twice, we had to ask for drinks orders to be taken twice, had to ask for the order to be taken each time one of us had to get up and go look for a staff member had to ask for cutlery to be given AFTER our starters arrived - to be told "yeah we have a shortage of cutlery at the moment" !! had to wait another age for the plates to be cleared away and then when we were in the middle of eating the mains really basic and disappointing but that's another story we were asked "are you all finished??" Absolutely deplorable service, we complained when paying as not a single apology had been offered until then and we were told "yeah we're short staffed" - that's not an excuse, don't take bookings if you're short staffed, apologise before the whole thing starts or when the person calls to confirm, recommend they cancel their booking and not to waste their time. On top of this, they don't have changing tables, in 2022 in a supposed child friendly restaurant?? We won't be back and it's such a shame given how it used to be such a great place, don't waste your time and book elsewhere. Kid-friendliness: No changing tables

About a week ago, myself and my friend ordered two portions of chicken wings for collection but a lot of the pieces weren’t even cooked properly, they were raw. I ended up getting sick. After I called the restaurant about the issue, I was promised a voucher which I never received. Very disappointed.
Great authentic pub with killer Guinness and the best vegetarian lasagne I have ever tasted. Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Navan! With love from Australia x
Visited The Round O for Lunch. As always, superb food and friendly staff. Reasonably priced, highly recommended.
the service here is incredible! shout out to Bev for writing out a great itinerary for us. one of the most accommodating and sweetest waitresses we had on our adventure through Ireland. great wings and selection of craft beer. thank you Bev for a great night!
