Absolutely fantastic only stayed one night food was amazing and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much bother. My husband is a very plain eater no garlic, cheese, spices etc. this is makes eating out difficult as most chefs like to dress plates and ignore the requests not the case here!nWe were in the garden room which was beautiful and would definitely recommend staying here. Excellent
Went for a meal here for our 20 year annerversay with my wife. sister and brother in law.and I must say the service. Food and general friendliness of the staff was second to none. The food was stunning.never had to wait for long for service to start and all through the meal at each course they were there.i cannot recommend the place enough. Happy happy happy
This food is special. It makes you feel like you are being well looked after and the staff are efficient and polite. The ambiance of the old pub makes you feel calm and safe. It was full when I went with a large group but never got too noisy. Interesting menu which is definitely rural. Delicious desserts, so spoil yourself. Only problem was the parking!
Went there last night for the most wonderful Valentines Meal and everything about the Riverside is exceptional. The staff are so courteous and welcoming, with the most engaging, professional table service, and the food is truly first class. The Valentines menu was a multi-course taster menu and each course was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavours were superb and the beef course was simply the finest extra-thick fillet of steak I have had in many years ... succulent, flavoursome and 'melt-in the mouth' tender. Our finest complements to the exceptional chef. We always love going to the Riverside as it never fails to impress and satisfy.
A lovely lunch here whilst visiting the area. Booking a table easy online or over the phone; staff very friendly and attentive on arrival. A drink in the bar before being seated passed the time when we arrived a little early! Dog friendly table provided and made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit!
