I went here on a warm Saturday with my family, what I liked most about this fish bar was the quick output even when busy. The fish was delicious and a healthy portion size for each one we bought. I would definitely recommend, I'd say it's my favourite place to go in Matlock.

Best gluten free fish and chips ever! Everything was very fresh, the chips were lovely and the fish was so tasty it was absolutely amazing. I was so happy to find a place that offers gluten free as it’s one of not many places around that do so we were over the moon! I will definitely we coming back and would recommend to anyone! Also very nice and generous portions at a good price. Just lovely

Visited here last night and sat inside for our dinner. The prices were a great price and food was lovely. The only reason I give this a 4 star is the staff could have been a little more cheerful and  quicker in bringing out the food. Seemed like they did not know how to multi task and we were sat 10 minutes waiting for it  to come out when all the food was ready.

Walked past here on a walk and decided to have some chips and peas between us, me and my partner. Staff were friendly and the service quick however the chips were not great. For me I'd say they were a little on the undercooked side and not crispy at all, plus they forgot to ask about salt and vinegar so that didn't add much flavour to the already quite dull chips.

One of our favourite fish and chips shop. Price is reasonable and portions are generous. The only down side when we went there recently is that they only have cod and the other fishes were unavailable. Would still recommend them.
