I visited this bar with a friend in August. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and was very clean. Despite the bar being busy, staff were efficient and friendly. The food was reasonably priced, particularly for the location. The menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Our meal arrived quickly and was piping hot. The side salad was fresh and had good quality ingredients. The view over the harbour was magnificent. Sadly, we were only in Weymouth for one day otherwise we would definitely have eaten here again. If I had to be picky, the cutlery didn't come with our food and the waiter didn't tell us where the cutlery station was. Not really a problem as we found it easily.
Lovely pub, beautiful location but terrible service. My family were told the kitchen was closed however other people were ordering food and clearly the staff just didn't want to take an order from our large family. Cocktails took over 40 minutes to be brought to the table. They were warm and one had a fly in the glass. This took a further half an hour to be replaced after multiple complaints and once it was replaced it was only half a glass. Would not come back here as it was clear other families were getting priority over mine. Disgusting service.
View from the balcony. Really nice and vibrant place. Food is great, sports, outside drinking area. Can't fault it. One of my favourites.
The food was really nice.. freshly cooked. Had big screens for sports. And plenty of tables out front for enjoying the harbour. Even has a Popworld night club upstairs. But a real shame about the toilets, they were so disgusting. I was lucky to make it to the toilet with how sticky the floor was. But everywhere else inside was nice.
Lovely place, tastefully decorated with good service. It was very quiet when we visited. Biggest downside was the grim cocktails. Far too sweet and juicy, and the raspberry cooler just tasted like blackcurrant squash. Not a fan for £15 of juice, I like to taste alcohol in my cocktails.
Great service from the one bay lady , working very hard . Had a warm beer , sent it back got a fresh beer no problem . Ordered food , had to send back Mac n cheese as cold . Got a burger warm and pink , raw but edible . Kids meals were very good and good price .
Lovely little restaurant , found a nice quiet corner to sit I whilst overlooking the harbour. Food and drinks were great. 2 for 1 on pizzas and cocktails too so great deal if you're looking for a fairly inexpensive meal out.
Visited the lower floor on the harbour and took advantage of the pizza and drink deal. Ordered the mighty meat with a lemonade the pizza came out undercooked cheese wasn't even properly melted all the meat was anemic and cool and came with litterly 3 cold beef burnt ends placed in the center and the pizza more like a garnish than a topping.
Great food brilliant presentation. Wonderful staff consideration and customer service. Standing ovation atmosphere and persona. Brilliant staff all round
Great venue, amazing atmosphere. Came in on Friday to watch the bands. Jess was a great help and the 241 cocktails were super tasty
