Traditional village pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Situated with open countryside and mountain views to the rear. Off road parking and large garden / kids play area. Bar & lounge with attached restaurant. Food is very good, guest beers available.

Has previously had lovely food at The Red Lion but today wasn't the best Sunday dinner we have had unfortunately. There was a private party going on in the dining area which resulted in about 4 tables and the bar to eat. No signs to say a private party was being held to prepare people. Food was served quick. Beef was hard to cut and the bar area was cold as the door was wedged open. On the whole it was a disappointing Sunday meal.

Service was actually good but food was below average sadly and we probably won't return, maybe they should just stop serving food as plenty drinking in there even on the restaurant side so was a bit noisy. Place looks nice but slow cooked beef was more like a fast cooked cheap chewy cut definetly not a chef who loves food in that kitchen. In fairness it was only £40 for 4 to eat with a drink but would sooner pay more and have decent meal, roast is easy to make for average Joe, so expect alot more when your paying but it was pretty poor food.
