Both roasts we ordered were generously sized and good value for money. I would have liked a Yorkshire pudding with my chicken roast however it wasn't to be. The potatoes were cooked to perfection as was the mash included. The fireplace was great especially on a day that had snowed so it gave off a very comforting and warm feel. Service was good as well

Visited today for lunch. We had the mixed grill. Cooked really well thanks to the chef. .. great pub friendly staff really helpful too. Will definitely be going back. Thanks

Excellent food and beer. Landlord is very friendly and helpful. Staff are great. Great pub!

Foods always been lovely. Never had a complaint about it. Good protion sizes too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Willing to amend/adjust food for u if needed. My pnly problem is the doorway isn't wheelchair friendly as it is very narrow and has a step to get in through both the front and side doors. (Its a very old building) But once in its all on a level. A lovely fruendly old pub.
