Absolutely appauling service from this branch! Spent £200 tonight & asked to spread this over 3 payments with KLARNA to make it easier for us. which we do for a lot of things, so thought great we can re decorate our living room and not have to pay the full amount! That was Until we got to the till, the poor woman at the till didn’t know anything about it so asked another member of staff who also said he hadn’t been trained to do it so he went to speak with the manager Kevin who was 100yards in front us dealing with another customer. .. However instead of asking us to wait as he was currently busy he made the poor lad come back and tell us that KLARNA isn’t working at the moment and we would have to pay in full! NO fault of the staff at all they were lovely and it’s not their fault they haven’t been trained but expect better from the management who only needed to walk 100yards to do the transaction for the cashier! Clearly KLARNA was working and he just couldn’t be arsed to do it - proved this when I asked to speak with him and he walked off and disappeared. I’m not one for complaining at all I’ve worked in retail as a manager and know it’s difficult but i expect better than to be lied to and will be taking this further. Photo’s attached to show the signs around the shop, there was also a message on the radio in the shop advertising this service to pay in 3 as well if it wasn’t working it would of taken 2 minutes to go into the office and print out signs saying this wasn’t available!!
I love shopping in The Range- my go to store to buy house items, Rugs, curtains lamps, kitchen items cushions....decorating, for my pets.nThe store is quite big and reasonably priced on a majority of items.nEverything you could want for a modern looking home!nLarge car park & has disabled bays.
Elaine the manager is useless. Needed to return a cot bought online, attempted for ten days to return online but couldn’t get any further forward with the once a day replies. Took it in store as a last resort, the manager agreed to sort it out then 4 days later after I chased her she decides she couldn’t arrange the return as she would be breaching data protection by discussing the return with the third party ?! I’ve never heard anything like it. So currently the store has both the cot and my money with no resolution in sight.
Went here as mates mam was looking for a particular mirror which was not in the galleries Range shop. Was surprised at the size of the shop here and took a while to find the mirrors, which was good as meant exploring their plentiful selection. Sadly though the mirror was not there either, so she settled for a different 1.
Looking for furniture, unfortunately no one to ask, left a little disappointed. Lots of assortment of everything else especially Xmas!
