Unfortunately, didn't meet expectations.nWe popped in on a Sunday and decided to stay for food. For starter we ordered mushrooms on sourdough toast with spinach and mozzarella cheese. When it arrived the mozzarella was substituted for a soft boiled egg, this wasn't mentioned upon ordering. Also find it cheeky that they subbed the cheese for a much cheaper alternative yet still charged the same price of £8. It wasn't worth £8.nWhen ordering the main, we went for the chicken Sunday roast. Upon ordering we were told there is no bread sauce and no cabbage. No reduction in price here either.nWhen the meal arrived, as you can see from the picture, for £17 it's a meagre portion. The pig in blanket was missing and the stuffing seemed like it was from a packet mix and had been mixed with boiling water only and not put in the oven meaning it was soggy. The meal was also incredibly salty and the chicken was from the leg, so the cheapest form of meat they could have used.nThe pub itself is in a nice area and is aesthetically pleasing, but I would only recommend stopping for a drink, there are much better places to eat locally.
What a loverly place 2 eat a sunday lunch been a while since we went out for one little bit expensive 2 what I normally pay but presented and cooked well also toilets areas around bar spot on clean loverly well in front of bar you can walk over
Welcome returnnnWe used to come to the rams a lot we live local we stopped coming because it became very stagnant with miserable staff and the food was always full of oil and bland.nnFriends of ours came on Friday and said it was busy and friendly and food was fabulousnnSo we came on Saturday I must say what a turn around the atmosphere was lovely the staff where very helpful and the food we where really surprised it was delicious I had the pasta and my husband had the double burger.nnThank you for a lovely eveningnWill return
What a delightful pub with really lovely staff. The decor is really nice, well kept and homely and modern. The man who took our order knew we was in a rush and he made sure everything came out on time.nnFood very food quality and prepared with love.nnExcellent place and highly recommended
The food was perfect. We waited almost an hour and a half for mains. The girl waiting on was very apologetic but said they only had one chef on. It this had been told to us to begin with it wouldn’t have been a problem. Manager disinterested and brushed us off. Was told all chefs were in - making his staff out to be liars. We will not return
