Great place in a lovely area. Highly recommended. The staff were excellent. The menu was good and the food was lovely. They serve a wide range of drinks including several good real areas. Ample parking. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Not the best experience I've ever had, food was distinctly average at best with a premium price tag. Waited over an hour and some of what we ordered *in advance* wasn't even available! Most of us left still hungry, unless they'd had the steak. Vegan mains rice & potatoes in the same meal - cheap ingredients, expensive price tag, and double carbs! but no vegan desserts. Not nice watching other people eat dessert when you're still hungry! Staff were great but there weren't enough of them. Feel sorry for you guys, rushed off your feet and struggling to cope. Where we sat smelled like cat pee and we weren't even near the toilets!
This place has never been anything less than great. We often take our young son and the staff are great with him. He loves standing over the covered well and pretending to fall.
Nice building and location. However, The food was average at best and some dishes lacked any taste/seasoning. The service was slow and inattentive. Drinks order forgotten and had to ask for dessert menu which seemed inconvenient. Sadly won't be returningService: 2/5
Food was ok, I had a small fish and chips, my children had an adult meatfeast pizza and a child's Mac and cheese, the pizza looked good but the Mac and cheese looked a disappointing a bit dry, that said all of it got eaten, my fish and chips were a bit bland, like none of it had seen anything resembling seasoning, even with some garlic and herb dip and coleslaw it was lacking. The staff were lovely, we were on a group of 8 which they accommodated for us with very short notice.
Didn't stay but visited to eat. Had a lovely lunch here. Tasty food, the cheese pie with chunky chips was delicious.Service: 4/5
Such a shame the Ram continues to disappoint with an uninteresting food by numbers menu. So many different owners or managers over last few years but kitchen is poor at best. Never anything on specials menu. Same boring mass catering pub food. Charges restaurant prices for a steak but incapable of cooking to order.
Had the Festive Menu here with a group of friends. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Many thanks
Such a lovely warm and welcoming little gem set in a beautiful village scene and great food. Would definitely recommend
Food was lovley... service took a while... shame our family meal was ruined by a group with 4 dogs that did nothing but bark ...im a dog lover but this was too much . Several table moved and complained to no avail
