Just had turkey and all the trimmings and it was fabulous!! Food lovely and so much of it, tasty and nice and hot. Four courses, fantastic value for money and service great too. Could not fault and we will be back.
4 of us went today for the Christmas lunch today, all 3 courses were perfect, and the coffee and homemade mince pie at the end was amazing. Big portions of delicious food cooked perfectly, service was excellent too it was busy but everything was running very smoothly, will be back in the New Year!
The atmosphere was just like an old fashioned pub. No TV or loud music and the food was great.

Great Pie!!! Not been Parr for food for 6+ years. Big chunks of beef in pie, good gravy and chips. Good solid pub meal. Not posh, just honest good tasting food. Will be back.
Excellent food and hearty-sized portions. Great decor and friendly staff. Dishes can be adapted for gluten free diners.
What's happened to the food at the Parr arms, that picture was a halloumi burger and chips. The burger was very bland, presentation very poor and the portion of chips was ridiculous. Complaining about the chips they told us they had reduced the portion size. Very disappointing from a place that was renowned for good food. How to go from 5 starts to 1 star. Unfortunately time to try next door, very disappointing.
Excellent afternoon lunch with group of friends. Staff were lovely. Will come again. Thank you
