Great food. More than enough to eat, should of asked for a doggy bag! The staff were attentive and efficient. Well done everyone. I would highly recommend The Raj.

My friend hired out the function room at the top of the restaurant. It was a good large area. The food was to an excellent standard and most of the staff were helpful. You have to go downstairs to order any draft alcohol. One of the bar staff (white shirt supervisor) seemed to get upset about this fact as he had to keep explaining it to everyone. At the end of the night 1am, a fight broke out between kitchen and bar staff. This was our qué to leave. The wife did receive a free bottle of wine on the way out the door. All in, a good evening.

Really nice staff and the food was brilliant. The owner is such a great host and suggested custom curries for all and they were tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

seemed decent enough. it was very busy (xmas parties galore!), yet they still got our food out reasonably swiftly. one mistake on the order was fairly rapidly rectified (and apologised for with an extra, complementary dish). portions were massive, fish and meat dishes were decent, side dishes likewise. fairly standard menu with a couple of interesting additions. large alcohol selection. friendly staff, plenty of room, well located, fairly typically priced, if not particularly cheap.
