Story

Albion House, Ramsgate is our new hotel. We have 14 bedrooms, a beautiful bar which used to be the chamber for town meetings, 3 exquiaite dining rooms and an amazing historic and in parts untouched basement with many original 1790's features. Albion House, Ramsgate is a place for you to come and stay, enjoy amazing views and sumptuous comfort, have a relaxing drink in our bar area, perhaps take the private dining room and host friends for a special occasion and generally look after yourself.

I very rarely provide feedback on places but the Sunday lunch in the Townley's restaurant was absolutely blinding - really the best ever -perfectly cooked roast beef and amazing selection of beautiful veg, good wine and lovely staff. The irony is that the day before a 'customer' popped his head out of the door and gave us a glowing recommendation , when asked if he was the owner of course the answer was yes! Normally this would truly put me off, but, in a rebuke to my natural inclinations, his boasts did not prove empty!

Never had a problem going to eat breakfast there on a whim and it's been gluten free food and a pleasant atmosphere however the last time I took a friend for breakfast and we were turned away with the receptionist telling us I had to book and it's always been that way. So we left and went to an excellent alternative with fantastic views which has thereafter made my mind up as to where I take my friends for breakfast in future and this place isn't on the list anymore.

Great hotel great staff great views but still a bit heavy on single use plastics sadly. UHT pots of milk etc in bedroom need to be phased out much nicer to offer real milk and coffee. Also sheets etc delivered in plastic why not duvet case. Change this waste and be perfect!

Excellent place. Food is delicious, good selection of wines and superb staff. A lovely classy atmosphere but a bit chilly when it's cold outside. Great dining experience

How often do you sit down in nice surroundings but can see nothing you want to eat on the menu (or is it just me?). Albion house gives you both. A welcome addition to the town and yet another reason why Ramsgate is "on trend with DFL's" and other local seaside towns disappoint.
