No stars really - We had an absolutely disgraceful service and have still not received a reply to my complaint from over 1 month ago. Our original call was 11.20am on Saturday 3 March. We were dropped off at 10.30pm at a services, half way home and told another truck would pick us up for the rest of the journey. One had not been ordered! We spent 7 hours in our car, in the freezing cold before a taxi finally arrived to take us to a hotel, but they had given us the wrong hotel name and it took another hour to find it. Finally got to bed at 6.30am and eventually got home at 1.30pm Sunday 4 March.

Absolutely disgusting how you didn't want to know about an idiot in your van with RAC all over it driving like an idiot. I didn't have the full reg at the time I rang in to report one of your drivers forcing a bus driver to slam his breaks because he was to impatient to wait for the bus which was already pulling away from a bus stop.Wish I had let the driver go to the police. You've done nothing the kids that where I'm the bus could of been hurt and not to mention your driver speeding through a residential area straight past a school aswell PE63EXP would of let it go but seeing as you wasn't interested on the phone

very bad customer service, unresponsive to complaints, Long long waits on the phone to get through to customer service. Over all I would definitely rather join AA!! Didn't want to write this review but their service is just appalling. I'm currrentlu trying to get through to them...... just got through apparently I've been transferred to the wrong department!! Loll RAC is total rubbish!!! AVOID !!

Called RAC regarding my car insurance, the automated phone service explanations are sooooo long, i would rather have rubbish music please.   
Renewal quote was horrendously high...then a surprise cancellation fee  (ok should have read the T&C's) but have cancelled with other providers in the past and had no penalties before.  Then before i could cancel i got cut off....not my end !   then had to go through the whole automating process again...arrrrrrh.  I have been a Breakdown member of around 8 years, that obviously doesn't count for anything...so that going to be cancelled as well now.

Broke down at midnight on a road and managed to push my vehicle onto a car park. Called RAC and was on hold for well over 2hrs before being told that there'd be a wait of over 4 hours and even that want guaranteed. Booked in for vehicle to be collected in 2 days time but they called to say that they couldn't make it. Its now been 5 days and still no collection. Such a shame as the guys that turn up do a great job....pity the customer service centre is sooooo bad. Think I'll go to AA.
