Have been staying at the Hunting Lodge for 9 years now in both self-catering and the hotel at all times of year and can never get back quick enough! Clive, Helen and Daniel are excellent hosts and we are always made to feel most welcome. Delicious food - excellent value for money, lovely, well-equipped, clean rooms with lashings of hot water, comfy beds, kettle, tea, biscuits, iron, hairdryer, tv, telephone etc, to say nothing of the spectacular views. Excellent service in the restaurant and bar, where nothing is ever too much trouble. Cant recommend it highly enough for all round service and friendliness. Make sure your visit includes the Sunday carvery for a superb meal in relaxed surroundings. Will certainly be returning for another break soon. Well done to all the staff for your fantastic hospitality, value for money and service with a smile. We just love the place!
