I had an amazing inpatient experience at The Priory this year. From admission all staff were welcoming, thorough, compassionate and supportive. I was allocated Dr Morrison as my psychiatrist who was great with medication/diagnosis and was extremely reassuring throughout. There was a range of invaluable sessions and activities and there was always a staff member available to talk to for support. My period at the Priory has been a life changing experience and the after care support once you are discharged as an inpatient makes long term care less daunting when discharged.
Highly recommend the Priory Glasgow. I don’t think I have ever written a review before but after my experience here I thought it would be good to do so, The staff here really care and want you to do well. I genuinely felt that and I came with a goal which they helped me achieve and so couldn’t have asked for anything more. I have been to other treatment centres before and by far this was the best all round experience. The therapy was much better than expected and I enjoyed the sessions, they follow a CBT cognitive behavioural therapy model which is proven to be highly effective and I have personally benefited from this. I wouldn’t look any further when choosing somewhere to help you with anxiety, depression or addictions you may be suffering with. Good luck.
Wow, what is there to be said, on arrival, staff were professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. The accommodation although basic is very clean and well cared for....Food is outstanding, Top chefs could not do anymore, just perfect. The therapists make this place what it is,m. Whatever you go there for you are looked after from beginning until the end. I cannot give the Priory any more praise 5 stars just does not quantify the profound experience I had in my time there.....The Priory Group should be proud to have a jewel in its crown that The Priory Glasgow definitely is...it was my privilege and honour to stay there and have such outstanding treatment....Well done to you all.
Really dissapointing experience for an organisation who has a reputation for excellence - As a private insured potential patient, I was assured that the treatments were fee assured, fixed price, and covered in full - and all billing would be handled by my insurer - I was repeatedly shunted back and forth between my insurer and the staff as The Priory repeatedly asked me to agree to be billed directly, and at variable rates - staff remained polite and professional throughout, but I was left feeling like I narrowly avoided being scammed when I decided to go elsewhere.
Disgusting place. Should be ashamed of themselves.
Unbelievable rude and arrogant addictions Doctor Agnohotri
November 2022. Inspection into EDU. I was a patient/ things were overdue up and it led to me being verbally and emotionally abusedby senior staff. Neglect and patient physically being restrained by a nurse who was banned from working on its sister ward up stairs. This has lent to by now C-ptsd and OCD. My inpatient notes detail none of my attempts to raise concerns.
