I visited Prince's on a Wednesday at around 11am. The place was absolutely packed, which doesn't surprise me as I've been here previously but to grab takeout cakes, so today was my first time sitting in. I've rated it three stars due to: The presentation Of The food, whilst it is only jacket potato with chicken curry I feel it could have been presented better (see picture) The orange juice I ordered tasted vinegary, no idea why? And whilst it was busy and we were offered a table by a man I assume to be the manager, we didn't get seen until we moved tables when one became available. The table we sat at initially wasn't dressed up (no place mats, sugar/salt pots etc) and it was right next to the bread cutter machine. The service that we eventually received after moving tables was friendly although the waitress did seem extremely rushed off her feet. The lady at the cake counter was very friendly and helpful when paying. The food I ordered, as previously stated jacket potato and chicken curry was okay don't know if I'd order it again but I like to try new dishes on each visit anyway. I'd absolutely recommend this place for their bakery section as everything I've had (cakes, pastries, pancakes) have been spot on. Prices Of The selection of food aren't too high but definitely the pricier side for some. They seem to have a grill room upstairs so will try this next time maybe.

Had another lovely meal at Prince's Restaurant today , and Bill gave us a lovely welcome as always - I love the place !

A perfect place for just coffee and cakes or lunch traditional food and very reasonably priced excellent take out service

Will not be frequenting this place again because of the behaviour of the VERY arrogant manager...What a shame, otherwise a cracking cafe/ restaurant, this place , years ago , was fantastic...Shame

A traditional cafe serving a varied menu with a wide range of pastries in savoury or desert format. Best cakes in town.
