Just had a burger and dirty fries delivered from Fab Burgers at Chain House. Really stunning. Enjoyed the meaty burger with Blue Cheese and onion chutney and the fries loaded with cheese, mayo, chorizo and jalapenos were stunning. Delivered to the door, even better. Will definitely sample more!!!
A cosy, welcoming place on the edge of Ponty's park and handily on the Taff Trail. The friendly new owners have created the best burgers I've ever had F.A.B. and the breakfast menu is really good too. Great place for meetings or chilling out.
I didn't book, rocked for the first time and got a table outside. Great service topped off with an awesome meal deal. Burger was fab!!

Ordered burgers, dirty fries and a Negroni cocktail for collection yesterday. Food was ready as soon as I arrived and staff were very friendly. Food was amazing, especially the dirty fries! Cocktail was really good too, the bottle contained two good measures and the quality of the spirits used were good too, they even included a bag of ice and orange wedges! The food was still nice and warm by the time we got home which was 10 mins after collection. I would highly recommend ordering from them and it felt good supporting a local business during these difficult times!
Nice burgers but took an hour to get them as they were prioritising takeaway customers. Also, we were offered a dessert menu by one member of staff who did not come back to ask what we wanted. In the meantime, another member of staff gave us our bill and less than 10 minutes later we were told our table was needed! We were not told we had a time limit when we booked. As a result we had to rush our drinks and no dessert. Really!
Eaten here 2 days in a row, only wanted to try it once before lockdown but it was so good I came back for more The dirty fries are out of this world! Mixed it up on the burgers had a chain House double yesterday which took an effort to eat, you definitely get your moneys worth with what you get. Had the £15 deal today with dirty fries and something with peanut butter on today which was also nicbut a little sweet for me. Still I'd recommend everyone try this at least once. Staff are great too, letting me order a takeaway late when I forgot my bank card and had to run the length of town to get cash. Great staff great food.
Food is good atmosphere is ok I recently made a Sunday lunch booking. It was last minute but they had space. Great. They do takeaway lunches and on arrival there were several people collecting and they did look great. We had a table booking for 2. The atmosphere is much more cafe style and casual which was quaint but the wait for our meal was over 40 mins. No starters just mains and dessert. The food was lovely. Carrot and Swede puree was fab, lamb cooked well and the cauliflower cheese side was great. I think the setting needs a bit of work as the constant flow of people collecting plates was a bit annoying and felt it slowed our service a bit. But worth a visit and the food was good. Price range a bit higher than I would have expected for a cafe type of experience but food exceeded cafe style. So mixed response from me between food good ambience unsure and price higher than expected.
Fantastic atmosphere, best place to have coffee, breakfast and lunch in Pontypridd - also great cocktails and a good spot to work - the excellent wifi makes things easy
