Well located and good food options. The service is slow with usually only 1-2 staff taking food/drinks orders. On my last visit my wait at the bar to order food was actually longer that the amount of time we waited for food to arrive since placing the order. Although the staff are nice and polite it does seem at times like they favour serving regular over others, regardless of amount of time waiting to be served. All in all I will return, making sure to use the App ordering system though.

I would recommend this Wetherspoons pub in Blackburn. It is very close to Blackburn railway station and the Anglican Cathedral in Blackburn. It is a nice quick walk from the railway station in Blackburn. Maybe 5 minutes. The pub is bigger than you think. And is clean and tidy inside.

Always a pleasant atmosphere, unfortunately on our last visit we was a little disappointed with the food. It arrived very promptly even though the bar service was frustratingly slow. We each had a steak, was cooked to near perfection. To our surprise the 12 ouncer was 40% gristle served with half a dozen chips.... After spending £25 for 2 we left very much hungry still. I recommend the burgers which are half the cost and you feel like you have eaten afterwards.

Was sat at table 40 and after two pints I went up to order some food. Left a drink on the table with 25% left in it. Was no more that two mins and came back and found my drink had been moved to the next table and two people was sitting there. Told them I had ordered a meal at table forty and really got a negative response from the male. Saying no one was sat here and tables are not reserved. I argued with him but to no avail. Would seem he as one of your kitchen staff. Cameras would confirm. Was looking forward to eating the empire burger but was really put off with an employees attitude

Andrew the manager was so quick on his feet he gave us fantastic customer service and provided the establishment with 10/10 service. Emily was friendly, beautiful and brilliant at her bar job. Defiantly recommend!!!!
