This was a fantastic pub. Delicious food and was a good sized portion.nCheap prices for pints of cider under £4 a pint and great value on food.nLots of tables and room.nStaff were very friendly and welcoming.nIdeal for large groups.nHad a pool table, darts board and fruit machine.nHighly recommend!!

Whenever we are in Saltash, The Ploughboy is a must visit with the family. The fabulous prices of both the drinks and the food make it a very great family eatery. We feed and water a family of 6 for less than £100 on average. Only disappointment on our last visit was that they have revamped the menu and removed some of our favourite items including their outstanding Peppercorn sauce. We will definitely revisit when next in Saltash!

Nice Sunday carvery. Easy to park. Two plate size/price options. Good selection of meats and various veg. Good atmosphere. Enjoyed our meal and drinks, but loos need attention.

The new management has certainly turned a new page in making this pub/restaurant very welcoming with the new staff and quality food. The food is served fresh within a reasonable time. The price of food ranges from about £5.95 for sandwiches and up to £19.95 for a mega mixed grill. They also have up to 4 different wines, too. The pub and restaurant is clean and tidy, good seating and outdoor parking.

Food was good rump steaksnService terrible, need to improve a lot- waitress acts like she won’t like to be there at all.nAtmosphere was unpleasant & cold, mainly because of lack of any window’s decorations in such a high ceilings.
