Wonderful service, local atmosphere really, we met people born and raised here who gave us tips for our trip around scotland, good beer. Sadly no food today so can't say anything about that, but I bet it's great when served. 5/5 will return when in town again.
A small and homely little pub dating back to the 1600's with a great selection of malt whiskies. Definitely worth a visit for a dram or two!Rooms: 2/5
After a day being out on our motorbikes we spotted this lovely little pub .. the four of us all sat in the resteraunt in the back and were served straight away with our drinks .. we ordered meals that didn’t take to long and everything we had was spot on .. the staff were all friendly helpful and very welcoming ..you couldn’t ask for any more .. WELL DONE TO YOU ALL and Thankyou ..
Two fish suppers, a beer, and 2 diet cokes for £24. Very friendly service. Lovely outdoor seating. Dog friendly.
I've driven past way too many times, but a course locally changed all that. What a smashing place, with the last surviving U bar this side of Perth. Been there since the 1600s and the moto is still the same "Usque Ad Mortem Bibendum" = Drink until you die! Works for me
Interesting pub, sackcloth up at the windows for blinds etc. Old worldly but staff and food nice. Called a couple of times for a meal but there was a variation in quality and quantity.
Very cute and pretty little pub. We only stayed for one soft drink so not much to add.
Great local place. Welcoming and accommodating, free public parking for campervan across the road. Cheers!
Great place to meet locals well kept beers great stock of whisky...
Really well kept beer. The landlord is passionate about his pub and its history.
