Visited for "Breakfast with Santa" with my granddaughters. Great idea and the girls loved the experience. The staff were in costume, tables laid up with art & crafts where the children could move from table to table, make tree decorations and colouring in etc. Choice of breakfasts where children sat on a big table with Santa. Food available for the adults, if required. And all children received a present. Thoroughly enjoyed
The pub itself is a nice place, has nice seating areas inside and out. The Staff were great, have been there a few times. Their customer service is very welcoming and accommodating. They always chat to us and have a friendly approach. Food is nice. Just very limited items for vegetarians. But I have got used to that and have my few favourites. The service outweighs the food availability.
Had a lovely experience with this place last Sunday. Sara and Natalie were out waitresses and were very accommodating and helpful. Carvery is a good portion size and the guy cutting the meats was friendly. Not the pubs fault but the womens toilets stank of cigarettes! This is definitely somewhere i would recommend for a Sunday roast. Also dog friendly if that helps :
Have been to this pub many, many times. Staff are attentive and polite. There is a fair range of beers and lagers. Bar snacks are available as well as hot food. With a great open front beer garden for the summer and a cozy in door vibe for the winter it truly is a pub for all seasons. Car park can get full sometimes so pick your times well. Toilets are always clean. There are doggy treats for our 4 legged friends and fruit machines for the 2 legged ones. Will be back soon.
Lovely pub that is great to visit any time. Food is great and staff are lovely. During the summer, there are lots of places to sit outside. Inside there are different areas to sit and enjoy your food. Always very clean and have good offers on meals. Food is good and portion size is good too.
Great food, friendly well timed service and great atmosphere. Went on a Sunday and had the Carvery.
Had a lovely evening here last night. Great pub and excellent food prepared/cooked by the kitchen staff! Served by the lovely Natalie who is always smiling :. She goes above and beyond to make your visit a pleasant experience.
Nice beer garden, very plush kids play area. The pub is situated close to pleasant walks but it's proximity to a busy road sort of detracts from the lovely countryside nearby. The food is OK, well cooked but nothing special. The drinks are premium with a price to match. A decent pub, but it has strong competition from other pubs in the area.
Lovely place to eat. Food was delicious and staff very polite, friendly and attentive. Would certainly return! And not over priced at all!!
Great pub, clean and spacious. Fantastic food, and lovely staff. It's also dog friendly and very accommodating. + Large parking available. We really enjoyed our visit! Thank you :-
