The first time that I went to the cinema was to see Planes Pixar. I saw that movie here, and ever since then, I've loved this cinema with all my heart. Advice: - Screen 1 is absolutely the best screen as it is the biggest. - You don't need to be too hot on the booking. That's only for big, big films like Oppenheimer. - Screen 3 sucks. - Screen 2's great. - Screen 5 is interesting as there's a small bar there. - Screen 4 rules! Comfy chairs. - This is a much better cinema than The Phoenix, IMO.
Good value, comfortable seats, friendly staff and a great film- Wonka! Would strongly recommend- great story, lovely songs, comedy on several levels for kids and adults AND a happy ending! Perfect for wet day in Truro.
Friendly and smiling staff who show you to your seat. Comfortable chairs and no complaints about either the screen or the sound - this was screen 2. Standard range of sweets and drinks. Facilities all good and clean. We were watching an older film - released again - and the ticket price was excellent. Print your ticket from the machines in the entrance foyer. An enjoyable couple of hours.
Nice little cinema but the staff member who was dressed in black trousers and black shirt pretending to be the manager or even worse was the manager had a stress filled attitude, he needs to sort out his customer relations skills ! Lady in front of me gave assistant her ticket then she asked for my ticket and I said that on arrival after producing my online reference number I wasn’t given a ticket , the so called manager or just a bloke from men in black got all up tight and not too friendly in front of my 8 year old granddaughter . Disgraceful face of Truro cinema……. 2 stars given only because this guy took the other 3 away
Excellent evening at the screening of "Dear England" last night. The manager and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I have mobility difficulties and their attention and help made our visit a great success. Thanks.
I’d give 10 stars if I could! Amazing classical old school looking cinema, brilliant friendly staff - Max showed us to our seats which was a lovely touch. VERY good prices, and beautiful screen. Clean tidy, and an overall brilliant experience! Highly recommended!
Clean cinema. I think it's been recently refurbished. Tickets and food and drinks are reasonably priced. Was good to see that they did check the age of some teenagers who were trying to get into a Certificate 18 and politely told them that they were too young to watch it.
Went here to watch Anyone But You with friends all age of 15. We all got ID checked all of us which we did not have we were watching a rom com then whilst we were figuring out what to do proceeded to serve and let in people who we knew were NOT 15 purely because of their looks. Unfair staff and not treated well. Wish I could put 0. If you would like a friendly and welcoming experience please go Anywhere but here.#notslay
Another brilliant evening of bloodshed, profanity, heroics and villainy courtesy of @patsfilmclub Well, courtesy of Bruce Willis in Die Hard on the @wtwplaza big screen, but you get my drift. A perfect film? Pretty close. A perfect Christmas film? Yeah, why not? Yippee kay yay!
May I say nice and spacious toilets. Something I tend to find rare in a cinema, as well as this the cinema has comfy seats good food/drink deals in terms of cinemas, better still they sell their old posters on with proceeds going to charity cash only. The Monday price reduction is great and the cinema tickets are reasonable. This is my new favourite cinema.
