£2.00 cash donation to the honesty box Although street parking is available, it is always full. It's so lovely and green. The Quarry Garden is reached via steps from the Plantation House. There's also information about Henry Trevor and The Plantation Garden's history. There are woods, exquisite bricks, and textiles in the garden. There is a wooden chair available for you to sit and relax in. Comfortable shoes, on the other hand, would be ideal because there will be more footsteps as you walk around. We were there at the time, and there were some free plants in the front. I don't know if it's available on a regular basis.
Lovely, well maintained garden to visit, spend just under an hour here. Signs around the garden explaining its history and links to the city. Honesty box at the front for £2 entrance fee, with other options to pay e.g by text.
What a stunning spot! This sunken garden filters out the surrounding city noises & transports you to another serene location all together! A beautiful place to stop, wander, ponder, appreciate, relax & take deep breaths! Gorgeous tropical plants too! A real hidden Gem!
The best Secret Garden. Run mainly by volunteers doing the gardening on Tuesdays and musical teas on Sunday afternoons during the Summer. Membership available or just £2 into the honesty box.
beautiful place, perfect for some leisure, enjoying a tea/coffee with something sweet, a place with tables and chairs, with space for picnic, full of green, away from city noises, all ages can have a little quiet place in this small but lovely garden
Considering it’s the middle of winter, what an amazing little garden. As good as any national trust gardens and right on the doorstep of the city centre.
Such a beautiful garden.. it is not very big but such a lovely place. Entrance fee is £2 but it's more like a donation. You put it into a "honesty box" before entering.
Lovely well kept garden. It’s quite small but cosy. Feels like a mini Kew Gardens. Definitely a nice place to have a picnic.
Beautiful, worth the tiny £2 admission. You can also volunteer here! Perfect place if you want somewhere quiet and love nature!
Absolutely.beautiful is all I can say, simply stunning takes you breath away the beauty of the gardens and all surroundings Everyone should experience something as beautiful. So calm, peaceful and serene
