Beautiful location and all the staff are so so friendly, attentive and helpful!! Room was clean and tidy although had a strange burnt smell, which wasn’t a big issue. They have a great range of entertainment when we stayed they had a bbq and live music in the evening, also stuff like board games available to take to your room, and a pool table. The hotel is a bit dated but you cannot fault it, everything is very clean, service is fast and there is lovely outdoor seating with a nice view.
A nice looking hotel with nice amenities and grounds, short 10 minute walk to the town so easily accessible for all your needs. Hotel is a little dated but room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of options from cooked English to cereal, fruit and lots of gluten free and vegan options, staff were also very nice and accommodating
We are coming to the end of our 50th wedding anniversary tour of Scotland and have stopped at 4 hotels prior to this one none of them hold a light against this hotel.nI don't usually write a review until I've left the hotel but on this occasion I am going to because from the time of our arrival the staff have been brilliant,our room 228 was fantastic and a lift is available to use and the food choice is excellent. It's a great location for touring with a great village close by.nI've looked at the negative reviews and don't understand why people have posted negative comments.nIf you are coming to this area I would 100% recommend you book a stay here.
We stayed four nights at this hotel. Couldn't fault it. The staff and service were really great. Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant service was very organised. All the food was cooked and presented in an excellent manner. Menus were well balanced and many breakfast choices. Breakfast is self-service, although staff are on hand if you require help. The hotel is very clean. There is a bar area and also an indoor swimming pool and gym. There is plenty of parking and a lift to all floors. It's about a 15 minute walk into Pitlochry from the hotel. It is uphill walking back. The town has plenty of shops and tea rooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The evening food was good although basic. The breakfast had an excellent choice and the quality was good. The staff were hit/miss, some were chatty if you wanted it, others were not, although all the staff attended to our needs. The rooms, however we're very tired and needed an update.
