We were advised by our own GP at a different health centre that our daughter needed paediatric blood tests and was given the option of 3 different centres, unfortunately I chose Pikes Lane as I was roughly aware of the location. First thing is the parking, its horrific, the centre is next to a primary school so all the parents on the school run use the medical centres parking and no one is managing that. More importantly and the reason I would never use the centre again, and I would advise all others to not use, is that my daughters bloods were taken at 9am and were not sent on the first available collection to the hospital - they sat around for hours before they were sent. The result of this... my out of hours GP calling me at night to say my daughter had potentially fatal levels of Potassium in her bloods and she needed to go to a&e for urgent retests and treatment. The hospital did retest her blood and looked in to the timeline of what had happened that day and thusly informed us that my child was fine and that the health centre was responsible for the upsetting dash to the hospital, the 3 hour wait and the inconsolable child!!!! Do not use this place if you can avoid it
Good service in December from Dr. Afsa who treated me for a chest infection then a week later prescribed more antibiotics and a sick note for work as I was still unwell, happy with my treatment. Rita Bischoff.
Its a disgrace. There's a receptionist there called miss chauhan she's a dirty lying scumbag she refused to take oath in court then proceeded to lie to a judge thats after changing her statement 3 times. What a disgraceful human being absolutely vile person. Their all so rude and if I could give zero I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
rude receptionists, abrupt doctors Who don’t know what they’re talking about, I went to the doctors to help with an eating disorder and they told me “you’re such a pretty girl, what’s the problem “, the fact that there are doctors there that behave like they haven’t been taught about the way mental illnesses work is unsettling and does not fit in to today. There needs to be a massive change with the centre, from the receptionists that are unhelpful and uncaring /unwelcoming to the doctors Communication skills/professionalism. You can’t get an in-person appointment, they just keep asking you to ring at 8 am and when you do the lines are full, I’m switching GP as soon as possible. can’t stress enough how much I recommend not going here, you will regret it.
I attended the leg ulcer clinic today and the respenist was so rude this is not the 1st time it's every week I have tried to find out who I complain to but unable to find anyone I do not recomed anyone goes to pikes lane h/c the leg ulcer department
The doctors, nurses are competent there. However the reception staff are hopeless...‍ They are so rude! They have a horrible attitude and they don't know how to do their job properly. They believe that they are doctors, and instead of trying to book you for an appointment for you to see a doctor, they try to diagnose you on the spot... When you phone in for an appointment they try to lose you and advise you to go to a pharmacist instead, even when your condition is serious. After going back repeatedly to the surgery for months, it turned out I had meningitis. The reception staff relentlessly refused to book me for an appointment to see a doctor...

Rude staff. Unclean waiting area. Repeatedly offering the wrong diagnosis for patients. Complete lack of empathy or belief on the part of some GP's regarding the plight and needs of their patients. Can't get through to reception when needed and when you do, the reception staff are rude. I'll be changing my GP as soon as possible.
Very bad experience. Lady at reception is very rude & the waiting is appaling. Waited for a whole hour to get to see my doctor. Need a female member doctor. The nurse needs replacing on my 2 month baby she stabbed the needle into him instead of being gentle and careful with a baby! Changed my doctor but honestly need a new nurse!!!
Came here today with my dad and was appalled by the service. I accept we arrived a few minutes late for the appointment and that was partially due to not finding a parking space. However, after arriving the receptionist wasn’t around to be seen for the next 10 minutes. Thereafter we were called in by the physiotherapist only to be told my father can’t be seen as it’s too late and it will delay everyone. A few minutes from our side should not have caused that. Also if the appointments are 40 minutes each then surely a 20-30 minutes session could have taken place. We understand places are understaffed but please use some human compassion and some common sense. Obviously we weren’t offered another a lot as it’s all dealt with externally so we’re just told to leave and call a certain number and book again.
