The Physio Room is located in the attractive and magnificent Bluecoat Avenue which is conveniently located in the centre of Hertford. There are good transport links, being just a few minutes from Hertford East station and the A414. We also have our own free on-site parking exclusively for our patients.

Ian is an absolute pleasure of a gentleman and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else for my physio needs. With much experience he provides a friendly atmosphere and has helped me to understand my injuries better than anywhere else ever has. He is extremely flexible with appointments and definitely worth a visit for all kinds of issues.

Ian has now treated 2 members of our family with serious injuries - he worked with my husband following complex shoulder surgery and my 12 year-old son who'd suffered a torn ligament in his ankle.  He is kind and calm and has a very reassuring manner, which is so important especially when a child is concerned and in pain.  He sets achievable goals, and works with the patient and injury for optimum short and long-term benefits.  Most importantly he has achieved fantastic results for both my husband and son.  My husband has regained a range of movement that the doctors/surgeon thought unlikely after seeing the initial injury. We would highly recommend Ian and The Physio Room to anyone.

A calf injury left me unable to run for over a year, with a number of physios and specialists unable to solve the problem. Ian was able to get me back running in just over two months - just as he said he would!

He combined intense treatment of the affected area with solid guidance on the importance of mechanics and running form. Ian is a runner himself which meant his advice was not just theory but based on his own experience as well.

In short, don't waste time or money anywhere else and go straight to The Physio Room!

I was in so much pain with horrible spams in my lower back. Ian kindly took me in a last minute appointment and diagnosed the issue with my back. With his advise and some sessions the pain disappeared and he has managed to get me back in shape! I highly recommend The Physio Room, Ian is very professional and cares about the patient. If you are in pain as I was, don't doubt! Go to visit Ian!!
