A very friendly and pleasant place to go for a meal. Dog friendly and kid's friendly. Food is out of this world. Hot and tasty. Definitely be going there again soon
Impromptu lunch for 2. Delicious food friendly and polite staff. We did have to wait for an hour for food but we were informed that there would be a delay due to staff shortage. Well worth the wait. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked and fresh when served. Will definitely visit again. Well done to staff for such a welcoming atmosphere
We were a group of 8 people and our experience was not good , food came out and was served French fries not chips didn't really mind but when you order steak you expect proper chips !! The chicken was very dry and chips were hard . Sunday dinner was very bland no taste to the veg and again chicken was very dry . One pudding came out and it was still frozen in the middle so had to send that back . I'm not normally one to complain but my husband has been ill all night after leaving there. But it wasn't only us a table opposite us had to send their food back as well . Such a shame as we used to love going there ,but won't be returning anytime soon .
Wasn't planning on having a 3 course meal. Between the 3 of us we had cleared each course in its entirety. Food was absolutely incredible and service was fast and polite. Incredible effort. also made my fiance feel very relaxed while breast feeding which was an incredible bonus!! Highly recommended.
The food was great, the service quick and professional. The App food offer didn't match the printed version fully so I had to order at the bar to get what the app hadn't shown. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a great time.

Spacious table layout and comfortable seating. Good service and quick food delivery at table. Food quality okay for the price but don't expect much more. Food preparation on site probably limited to the basics. The steak and ale pie is bought in and turned out a bit soggy. The roast beef was not very tender - possibly because the restaurant was not busy and they wasn't much turnover. However the fried fish was good with crisp batter although the chips were fries and a bit ordinary. Prices are low so don't expect too much.
Had food there lunchtime today with the family. Food was lovely and service was good. The really negative was the tables were not cleaned so we had to clean our own table before sitting down and the carpet was the dirtiest carpet I have seen and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks.
food was good but due to new management the food and staff quality has decreased the rating. We asked for many meals but they were declined due to not have enough food to create that meal. I once loved this restaurant but its slowly declining
Table booked in advance for my son and his girlfriend. They Turned up and we’re seated, after ordering drinks they were told sorry no food left…feeling very disappointed Edit****Thank you for the reply. I have spoken to Joseph at the premises on two occasions this evening, before I write the review and when I read your reply.
