Good pub with lots of space, have attended a few events and the staff are always friendly. Does need a bit of a revamp but the costs would be too much. For a local pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff and clientele I am happy to visit again. There is also parking and outside space for the children to play in summer

We hosted a 30th birthday party here in the hall at the back. Found the staff to be very accommodating. They let us connect a laptop to the TV for games, decorate the hall it to how we like and very helpful when we needed them. Would recommend for them again for hosting parties.

Came here on 22/09/17 for a surprise party in the function room so the clientele is as good as you like it's not a public event. Service was fast Premium Lagers heading towards the £4.00 Mark but doesn't matter too much we weren't there to get in a state. Used the venue previously on Mums 60th Birthday and the catering was great. I've never used this place as a pub or hotel but I've not been told anything bad about it before, only good recommendations.

Visited the pub to attend a party in their back room & received the usual good level of service. They always have a fine selection of real ales.

I've been using this pub regularly when walking my dogs. The real ale has to be the best in Dunstable, the landlord insists his staff pull off 1 to 2 pints ullage if no on has had a pint on a particular pump. Never had a bad pint, selection across a range of beers, from light to dark, vastly underrated pub ,always 6 real ales, nice fire in winter & in summer ( + medium sized function room for bands & guest house facilities) just sup your ale & watch the world go by.
