Had dinner here last week at the Baker Street branch. It's a cute little shop. The food and service were great. I ordered the vegetarian green curry. I can usually handle spice and this was quite spicy for me, which is great for a change as the ones I usually have are more sweet than spicy. The staff were all really friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place.
I came here for a late dinner with a group of three. We ordered the classic sharing platter which came with a good amount of food for sharing. The chicken satay were really delicious. We also shared three other dishes including the chicken pad thai, chili and basil stir fry with minced beef, and the green curry with prawns.
First time dining in any of the Rosa’s Thai Cafe chain restaurants. I enjoyed the experience overall. The staff were helpful and attentive. The menu is good and the portion sizes are particularly generous. The atmosphere was perhaps a little bit too loud although I wouldn’t blame this on the restaurant itself. Will definitely consider revisiting
I'd visited my local branch in West Hampstead twice, but the food, while fresh, was remarkably bland both in flavour and heat. I thought I'd try the Baker Street branch great for people-watching and really enjoyed it despite a couple of faults. The summer rolls weren't quite as stated, but the texture was wonderful and the spicy dip fiery. The elements missing were crushed peanuts and that they're also described as having vegetables inside, they don't really, it's lettuce, herbs, little noodles and technically carrot but just the tiniest slithers; still a great starter though. Side of noodles had a satisfying texture, was a nice big portion, but completely devoid of seasoning, no soy sauce at all, so again, not as stated, and really quite a ridiculous oversight. However, my veg and tofu green curry was absolutely fantastic, very spicy and with an absolutely perfect balance of strong flavours. The unseasoned noodles were brought to life dipped into the sauce, and I enjoyed the dish immensely. A bottle of nice pale ale and polite, friendly staff rounded out my visit. All that's required is attention to detail and ensuring the dishes are as on the menu, and it could be a 5/5 next time.
Good lunch deals although I wish the portions were a bit bigger - flavors are on point! Their regular menu is absolutely delicious and the portions are great - highly recommend the drunken man noodle and the chili basil stir fry. Having said this, I’m not a fan of this place because the servers lost my bag after I called to report that I had forgotten it there and they said they would keep it and tried to tell me that it had stolen?? Really poor customer service, not sure that I will ever go back
Rosa's was a delight and a surprise. Their menu lists Pad See Ew as comfort food and that's exactly what this was. My dish was salty and sweet and noodley -- an easy to overeat pile of delish when we were looking for something different. The Missus found her Honey-Marinated Pork Skewers "well seasoned meat candy on a stick", and the Chicken Satay well seasoned but not spicy. Sure this is Thai food made for the UK, but you could do a lot worse than bring your date here. P.S. Thai Tea with Lychee bubbles? Oh that was different!
Colourful and fresh Thai dishes, and while the spicy flavours were definitely tasty, I found everything overly sweet. In particular, the Thai iced tea was more of a sweet milk drink rather than the strong tea I was expecting.
Nice and clean place. Food was good. We had both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It wasn't as spicy as mentioned on the menu. Drunken noodles were better than Pad Thai. Scope for improvement in service. One of us had shrimp allergy, although they took notes but the order had shrimp in it, which we had to ask them to change again.Food: 4/5
The food is delicious! Great Thai food, lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Great ambience, and there's also lots of seating inside. The restaurant is situated quite close to Baker Street station.
Lovely helpful staff. The food was lovely. So flavoured. Absolutely how I like it
