The Peterborough School

Story

The Peterborough School is an independent School with Nursery for boys and girls aged from 6 weeks, in the Nursery, to 18 years.

Situated on one campus in the heart of Peterborough, the School, Nursery and Boarding House enjoy beautiful, extensive grounds and have access to excellent road, rail and other transport links.

The Peterborough School is a member of the Woodard group of schools, which are the largest collection of independent Church of England schools in England and Wales and one of the principal educational charities in the UK.

Welcome to The Peterborough School. I hope you enjoy learning about our small and successful School, where every one of our 430 pupils is valued and nurtured within our friendly and productive environment.

Key to our success are the small classes in which traditional high expectations are combined with modern teaching methods, ensuring each student achieves their best possible results.

Beyond the classroom, life is exciting and fulfilling. Our many and varied extra curricular opportunities offer every child the chance to gain confidence in whichever area they discover their interests lie.

This is a hugely exciting time at The Peterborough School as we move forward with the development of the co-educational provision in the Senior School. From September 2010 boys were admitted in to Years 7 and 12 and we are now fully co-educational for children from 6 weeks, in the Nursery, to 18 years.
