Visited on numerous occasions, food was good for the price staff was so polite friendly and helpful. The building itself was light with plenty of space to move around, which is a big deal when you have mobility issues. The cleanliness of the eating area was really good, but the cleanliness of the toilets was perfect. Go on, give it a try.
I have to say if they'd given me more than 12 chips I'd have given them a ten out of ten. However the fish was amazing. 9.5 out of ten. Best wetherspoons I've had! Excellent price with a drink included too all for under £8. At a pub in betwys y coed I paid over £9 for 2 cokes the other night!!! Cheers all
I love this branch of Wetherspoon right in the centre of Pwllheli. It's in the town's lovely former commercial centre which dates back from the early 1900s.nnIt's bright/well lit; clean; a nice atmosphere with people from all walks of lives and ages, young and old gathered together. The staff are welcoming; always making sure the place is tidy and at your service. The food and drinks are very affordable and good quality for what you get. And nowadays, it cannot be beaten.nnAs a woman, it's also a place where I've always felt safe to even hang out on my own; whether when studying my Welsh, being creative or reading a book, it's such a privilege.
Didn't even know Pwllheli had a Wetherspoons till we stumbled upon it and we've driven through it loads of times.nnCannot fault it to be fair food, service, atmosphere, friendly staff etc where all spot on, loved the old pictures of the area dotted here and there a nice touch We do love old pictures/photos of the area we are visiting, brings a whole new perspective to where you are and where it was way past when, just our opinion.nnWould we call in again,,,, definitely.
