The Pembrokeshire Herald is the newest local newspaper for Pembrokeshire
At the Herald we intend to cover stories from the whole of Pembrokeshire, bringing you all the news and issues that affects in our wonderful county.
The Herald will be free of political bias and will be written for the people and from the people.
We welcome stories from everyone in the county and will give everyone a fair chance to have their say on issues large and small that affect our day-to-day lives.
The Herald promises to report fairly and accurately on the issues and stories that arise.
Launching a brand new newspaper title could be seen as a brave venture in this uncertain economic climate, but we at the Herald see a growing need for a county-wide voice for you, the readers.
What we promise you is a champion for your concerns and causes, a forum to voice issues, and a place of record for the news within the county.
This will range from the burning local issues, through reports from the courts, decisions and discussions from local government, or –by no means least - the day-to-day stories of the people of Pembrokeshire.
We will endeavour to report on the happy events which take place in all our towns and communities, from the smallest function to the most high profile events.
We promise to report on stories throughout the county; whether in Haverfordwest, Tenby, Milford Haven, Neyland, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock, Narberth, Crymych, Fishguard and Goodwick, St David’s, Kilgetty, Newport, or any of the smaller communities and villages.
We will also not shirk from covering and investigating the often less palatable aspects of life; a newspaper needs to reflect every aspect of life in the area it serves, a mirror to the busy lives we all lead.
While it is early days for this fledgling new title, we hope it will grow and grow; becoming the standard reference for all that is great and good about this wonderful part of Britain.
We want the Herald to be the first thing you, the reader, turns to when they want to know what is happening in Pembrokeshire.
We hope you will join us.
