We had our annual dinner at the pub. With 37 people with many allergies some of these very complex and sensitive. Graham and the Cheff was excellent at managing these and making the meals inclusive. Cause there was so many of us we went for a buffet option and the food was amazing. We had to delay food slightly as some of the group was a bit late they were very accommodating towards this.nnThey were great in helping us set up and the choice of drinks was amazing.nnWe hope to return next year

Called in for lunch.. Landlord was incredibly welcoming typical scouser...  Drinks were reasonably priced, proper English pub and food was wonderful.  We had Beef n Blue cheese sandwich which was lovely, cheesy chilli chips, again lovely, and 2 portions of onion rings.   DO NOT BUY 2 PORTIONS OF ONION RINGS they are huge we left most but all food was superb.  100% recommend for food, drink and hospitality..

Didnt stay here just came for a post-hike PINT. Nice little garden out the back. Lovely food. Hefty portions. To the point that I feel like the onion rings side should be listed as a main lol, those things are MASSIVE. Watch out.

Had a few drinks over a few days and Sunday lunch here over the Easter Weekend. The beers were great, staff friendly and super efficient. Fitted us in for Sunday Lunch no dramas 4 adults 3 kids. Food was great. Cosy atmosphere, I will be back.

We had a hike around Mam Tor and made our way down into the little village before we headed back up and found this on the main road. They were very welcoming and happy to great us. The food and service was excellent, the chicken BLT was quite good and the burger was big but not too messy. Next time we’re in the area we’ll definitely return.
