Out of this world! I've stayed in some fantastic BnBs but this is something else. The host is a credit to the local area and words can't describe the breathtaking views. We had 3 nights in The Oystercatcher and will be coming back with friends and family over the summer for a local festival. We arrived early in the morning and even though it wasn't part of our first day stay there was breakfast waiting for us! Our bedroom was more like a self contained flat - it was large, welcoming and comfortable with an en-suit shower room and w/c. We even had our own main door so could come and go as we pleased. I spent a lot of time on the patio and the roof terrace just looking at the views. Iv'e heard stories about the mountains of Mourne and how they 'roll down to the sea' but until I saw it for myself I didn't realise how impressive it is. There are a surprising amount of activities nearby for all ages. We had a great laugh on the world class mountain bike trails and plan on going out sailing when we come back. There are also some fantastic little Irish pubs with live music on every night in more than one and a surprisingly good Chinese takeaway. Our trip to Ireland was magical in many ways but our stay at the Oystercatcher was by far the most special part of the trip.
