Nice and clean Car park. Ideal to park to go for shopping or on the beach. Plenty of parking. Can pay by coins, card and online.
The Orchard Car Park, is located in what used to be the centre of Seaton. It provides easy access to the businesses and shops in Fore Street, Queen Street and Cross Street.nIf visiting the town to use the beach, it is approximately a 5 minute walk from this carpark, and is very popular with visitors for this purpose. However, it is a fairly steep walk down to the seafront, so wheelchair users may be better using the disabled parking spaces on the seafront itself.nThe carpark is well laid out and maintained, but as with many places, I have found the peak season prices to be quite high.nFrom what I could see, there are a few ways to pay at the meter now, so this is probably easier than relying on having the correct change.nIt is an important asset for Seaton, as not only does it provide much needed parking for this part of the town, so people can access the local shops and small businesses more easily, but I noticed many local businesses are actually using it for their works vehicles.
Ideal location to park for a visit to town and the beach. Parking cost was much more reasonable than other long stay in the area. I used the app which involved confirming your car registration, then starting a timer. You stop the timer when you leave which then confirms the cost.
This large, open, Car Park is perfect for a visit to Seaton. With easy walking distance to the town centre and the beach it is in a perfect place.nnUsing the RingGo app meant it was easy to register without having to worry about the parking machine or having cash - who carries that these days. I was very grateful that it was so simple to arrange to pay for parking, so I could get on with my exploration of the town.
