Great pub, lovely garden. Fab service. Food was fab - the chunky chips were perfect and the beef rolls were good size & great quality meat. Friendly servers - dog friendly and has bicycle parking too. Highly recommend

This pub is a great new asset in our locality. The transformation of an old pub is excellent.  The service and drink options were really good. We popped in for a lunchtime snack on the recommendation of friends and reinforced by the chalkboard boasting best ingredients from well respected local suppliers.  Our sausage and chips had good chips, a decent salad BUT the sausages were not as expected. Our local butcher would not like to be associated with the very disappointing low meat content items. Pity. We were told they were from Bookers.  We will return but we'll  ask questions before ordering next time.

Amazing spot with great locally sourced food and a real cozy atmosphere.  Dog friendly and a great selection of ales cider and beers. Pool table and dart board with loads of outdoor seating ready for the warmer weather.  Food between £7 - £15 ish.

Today I took my hubby out for an early birthday lunch.  He had the ham, egg and chips, I had the five bean chilli.  My hubbies comment was “this is damn good food”   The chilli was also to die for.  Thank for a great start to his birthday.
