Freshly cooked breakfast and latte with a round of toast £6.95 it was delicious. Clean cafe and service was fantastic only my second time I throughly enjoyed the first time so I returned and was not disappointed I highly recommend
The worst brekfast place in UK shame on the food standard agency to give them 5 star hygiene rating as from top to bottom the place is moulding go in toilet and chew hat state it is and no hot water on wash basin. Avoid going there or if you go you will regret it. No words
Awful place, dreadful food, rude staff, avoid at all costs!
Good food and portion size, well priced, the staff were lovely too.
The tastiest chicken in cream mushroom sauce with chips and salad I have ever had. My mouth is watering again at the thought of how nice it was. Friendly staff and amazing food.
A great little place to stop and eat or grab a coffee. Friendly staff. Amazing choice of food all home made and prepared fresh. Their milkshakes are gorgeous! Always very busy so there may be a wait for food but its decent food and service so worth a short wait
First time being herr and must say the service was great but the food was even greater. I ordered a chicken salad which filled the entire plate. There was at least a whole chicken breast used and grilled in pieces which tasted amazing with just the vinegar and olive oil dressing alone. My partner had an omelette which again was tasty and quite a big serving. Well worth the money and excellent food.
Sad to find what was a good café go downhill. What an attitude! When I first wrote this review I was upset & hurt about the way I was treated. Now I'm calmer I've written this more accurately. I would not have given a review at all if the café owner had not thrown my glasses in the bin. Wish I took photos now! About the only thing that was decent were the mugs of tea but you can't go wrong with that when the tea comes with teabags still in the mug & milk on the side. Hubby had an all day brekky 2. I had the full panini with side salad. The fried egg was overcooked, but hubby was forgiving of that & he doesn't mind lightly cooked bacon, which he ate first. The Chips were nicely cooked, not deep fried & he intended to dip into his baked beans but when he tasted the beans, found they were well over done & stewed. That put him off eating the rest of his food. I ate my salad first which was nice but didn't know the bacon in my panini was undercooked & bottom soggy until I began to eat it. I can't stand barely cooked bacon & soggy bread. Though I'd eaten part of the top half of my panini with my salad. We naturally stopped eating & complained. All up we'd eaten about 1/3 of our food before realising there was a problem with it. The total of our meal would have come to £13.10. £6.95 for brekky with tea, £4.95 for panini & £1.20 for my tea. We were offered a discounted price of £10. My hubby was by now fuming and said he won't pay £10. Being an EastEnder he's very direct but he would have negotiated the discount as I felt £7 was a fair price to pay, if we were allowed to take the uneaten sausage & bacon home for our dog .. as that then would have been equal to half our food served + teas. The server in the café argued with us without let up. Hubby tried to give her some money, she wouldn't cooperate & some money fell on the floor as she told us never to come back. In my upset I left my prescription sunglasses on the counter so had to go back as soon as I realised I'd left them behind. When I returned, being deaf, I couldn't understand what the woman yelled at me after I apologised & told her I would have negotiated our bill & I asked about my sunglasses. My hubby stood at the door & when I walked back out he told me the woman said they had thrown the "glasses in the bin". I have no more words to relay how I feel towards this kind of attitude only that it stinks. I wish I could give zero stars.
Dad took me in here yesterday as we were so exhausted. We had the most delicious Chicken Curry!! Its their house Curry, not sure if the house Curry changes daily. It had Rice with a little bit of Garlic in, it had Raisins in as well. The Curry itself had large chunks of well cooked Chicken in with nice chunks of Carrot and Sweet Potato. Accompanied with a nice glass of White Wine to go with it. LOVELY! Recommend!!
Superb fish and lovely salad, all cooked fresh to order. Fab service
