"We are a small family team made up of Rebecca, David and our daughter Alice. We originally lived in Spain hence the name Olive Tree but decided to move back to England once our family started to grow with grandchildren. We bought the property in the lovely village of Stramshall with the idea of running a small bed and breakfast. This was soon expanded on when our daughter had the idea of using the vast amounts of space downstairs to create a tea room as well!We have put our hearts and souls into the property to give it a really good refurbish making it in our opinion a comfy and homely place to either visit for food and drink or stay over.We look forward to welcoming you whether for delicious food in the tea room or a restful stay"

Lovely B&B just 15 mins away from Alton Towers and really easy to get to just off the A50. Super friendly hosts, a licensed bar, private car park, lovely cooked breakfast and a well-equipped and comfortable family room - it was everything we needed for the night but would happily stay for longer.

Highly recommend this guest house, we immediately felt at home. Fantastic communication & the minute we walked in we wished we were there for longer! Safe and secure parking, clean and spacious rooms. We were doing the Alton Towers Half Marathon & unfortunately had to leave early. The hosts could not of been more accommodating and prepared us an early breakfast. We will definitely be staying again! :-

Lovely overnight stop for Alton Towers : Clean and homely, shame it was only for one night. Breakfast was delicious and real quality ingredients used. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, highly recommend x

The Olive Tree was amazing.  Lovely staff, great welcome.  Felt very safe, no big crowds all socially distanting.  Staff worked really hard serving everyone with a smile.  Superb open mic outside fantastic relaxing evening.  Thank you everyone First time out.

Absolutely lovely place to stay We checked in before 9pm and were greater with warmth and immediately felt happy to be there.  We had the apartment which was wonderful, just a shame we were only there for one night as we were heading to alton towers for a 2nd day! This was our stay over ans it was fab, less than 20 min drive from the theme park so easy to find after a long day and did not have to get up early to head there on day 2.  Pre ordered brekki which was good as took away the wondering and we got up knowing we had a lovely meal ready for us. We were offered cereal and fruits and yogs but we just went in for the cooked  Food was well presented and very tasty and cooked to perfection  Bed was comfy  Parking available off the road in car park  Shower gels supplied

The rooms we booked at the Olive Tree were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We had use of the breakfast room to eat our take aways and the owners even provided us with cutlery and plates to eat it off. It was a very enjoyable visit.
