Amazing family run business. Like The old sweet shops used to be. All the old jars of sweets. Pick and mix and also newer sweets. Great team working here. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Love here or just visiting, pop in. Another lovely independent shop in Frinton. Keep supporting their amazing work. Been back to this shop again and the staff are just as warm and friendly, still an awesome selection. Cannot beat a family run business that still believes in true service. They have even opened and online shop so visitors that find them when they visit can order gifts all year round and support a local independent business.
Good selection. Reportedly Kelly’s but texture was a little weird. Ice cream is cheapest I’ve seen in Frinton but portion is also the smallest at nearly half the size of other bricks & mortar stores. Would really only visit again for the selection & fancied something specific.
Wide selection of old fashioned sweets that you can get in different weights, plus some more recent sweets and American candies. Charming little shop, worth a visit.
Lovely place great selection of sweets, takes me back to when I was young. Very polite and helpful staff. It’s a 100% must if your ever in Frinton for the day.
A real gem of a shop situated in Connaught Avenue, Frinton on Sea. Full of all kinds of wonderful sweets that take you right back to your childhood. Very friendly customer service and nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a hamper or just for a sweet you loved but can't find anywhere else, The Old Sweet Shop is the place to go.
As the name implies this is a true 'Olde Sweet Shop' that carries a superb range of loose sweets, chocloates, and childrens items as well as classic boxed chocolates. This also includes kids pocket money sweeta and novilties as well as Ice creams to tempt you as well. A very knolagable and helpful staff make a visit to the shop a truly sweet event. Highly recommended.
Love this place,have to go in everytime I am there. So much variety and old sweets from my youth. Great value and not over priced, great staff who are nice and friendly
A wonderful experience stepping back in time into this old world shop. Jars of various sweets surround you which revive memories from childhood and the welcome is nice too. Once you have gone inside you cant resist buying a bag of something tasty.
We drive from Clacton to get an ice cream from here. Girls are always friendly even though they are freezing. Hygiene is very high as one serves ice cream and one takes money. Ice cream is huge.
Good range of quality sweets. Friendly staff. Pricing about right so expect to pay more than a supermarket for the very wide range of sweets. Would recommend.
